LA has always held a very special place in my heart. From the very first time I set foot in the city, I felt an incredible energy that I couldn’t quite explain. It must be the light. I don't know what it is about that light - a light that wraps around me, but it completely fills me...but also the breathtaking landscapes, the vast ocean, or those stunning sunsets that look like they’ve been painted by hand—where the sky seems to hold onto its colors just a little longer. There’s something about LA that fills me with inspiration and energy every time I’m there.

But it’s not just the place—it’s the people. I’ve been lucky enough to connect instantly with so many incredible women in LA, women who have inspired me and who I can now call friends. There’s always been an ease to my connections with people there, a kind of openness and warmth that makes me feel at home.

LA has supported me and my brand in ways I’ll always be grateful for. It’s not just a city for me—it’s a source of connection, creativity, and renewal. Whenever I spend time there, I come back to Europe recharged, full of ideas, and ready to create. That’s why a little piece of LA always finds its way into our collections. The Mediterranean inspiration behind the brand often intertwines with the magic and energy of LA—it’s always in my heart.

Driving along the PCH with music playing, the windows down, and the ocean stretching endlessly beside me is something I’ve shared with my daughters, and it’s a feeling I’ll never forget. That’s why I’ve been so deeply moved by everything the city has been going through. I can’t stop thinking about how to help rebuild ‘Our Beloved LA’.

To honor this connection and give back to a place that has given me so much, we’ve decided to channel this love and inspiration into something meaningful. Together with the brand, we’re working on ways to support the people of LA during this challenging time. Throughout the rest of January, we will be donating 20% of proceeds from orders on our website to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation.
